Actually, networking is an information gathering way to realize Politics(手腕、權謀、利害關係) and Interpersonal factors(人際關係考量) that will affect staffing management, like recruiting(talk to Functional Mgr. to search for resources), team development, or to realize stakeholders’ perspectives or someone’s hidden agenda(please refer to another article I wrote).
